Ugh.

By the way, I’m definitely doing NaNoWriMo. I’m making daily blog entries about how my plot bunny is escaping me (he’s fat and full of wheat thins), so if you want to see what’s going on with that, visit that other blog of mine. This will probably be the last post I make about that here until I hit 50,000 words.

So I’ve been watching Digimon 02 for the last few days. After watching 01 in its entirety, I can see how a lot of people don’t like it since it goes in a rather different direction than 01. (Un)fortunately, I pretty much started with 02 (though I definitely remember seeing the Angewomon/Lady Devimon bitch fight before… hoooooo yeah), so it still holds a very special place in my heart, even though I’m now seeing its faults (like the music… ouch, what were they thinking?).

From 22 on, I’ve been watching them in raw Japanese, so I’m slightly lost with some of the dialogue. I got to episode 28 last night, and I was totally unprepared for the Giant House two-parter where the Digidestined get lured into a giant house by Arukenimon (*takes a drink*). The scene where the hundreds of roach Digimon totally freaked me out, and I had to skip an episode for the very first time. (Though episode 30 with the Dokugumon and Daisuke/Ken/Iori caught in its web wasn’t much better.)

The funny (?) part is that when I brought it up with Hunter, he said “the episode in the giant house, right?”, which was both funny and sad at the same time. Good to know my phobias are reliable…

I might stop watching once I’m done my current story so that my thought processes don’t get messed up for the other stories… but hoo. Stupid anime. @.@
